Honor Flight Network

On August 4, 2016 Service Spring Corp, subsidiary company of The McAlear Group held a paper airplane Flight Challenge for its employees to benefit the Honor Flight Network. The Honor Flight Network is a non- profit organization that honors American Veterans by providing them with free transportation to Washington D.C, where they are able to visit their respective war memorials.

“All veterans should know how thankful we are for their service. As an industry, I think this a fun, innovative way to support our veterans,” - Mike McAlear

The Honor Flight Network flew 20,000 veterans to Washington D.C in 2015 and there are 22,000 currently waiting to fly. During the Service Spring Corp Flight Challenge, 39 employees participated and sent 261 planes into flight, raising enough money to send 4 veterans to Washington D.C to visit their war memorials.
