Led the team to take orders only 30 hours after an EF4 tornado caused significant damage to the main manufacturing plant and offices in Millbury, Ohio. Production restarted just 3 days after power was restored.

2017 – Community Acknowledgment

The circular drive surrounding Veterans Hall was named “Mike McAlear Way” on May 3, 2017 following a generous donation to the Owens Community College Foundation in support of veterans programming by Mike McAlear, then a member of the Owens Community College Board of Trustees.

At TMG’s headquarters, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department took a newly purchased drone for a test flight dedicated in the name of Mike McAlear, who passed away earlier in the year. A longtime supporter and reserve deputy for Wood County, Mike had donated funds to purchase the more updated drone. It aided in search and rescue, special response team aerial surveillance, and additional law enforcement related situations.
